Notes: Katherine Louise (nee Sanderson) Smith, 96, formerly of Grosse Pointe, Mich., died Dec. 27 at the Harbor Chase Assisted Living Community in Auburn Hills, Mich. She was born April 28, 1908, in Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ephraim Koch Smith, on Aug. 15, 1985. Burial was in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Mich.
She was the grandmother of Brian (Kristen) Smith of Lake in the Hills.
