Notes: Born March, 15, 1923, in Elgin, the daughter of William A. and Bertha (nee Larson) Martin, she passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, in Sherman Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard F. Mellen, on March 26, 1999. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin. She was the mother of Mark (Kamela) Mellen of Algonquin.
