Patrick H. Butler, 630 LInden avenue, died early Monday morning at St. Francis hospital in Evanston. Mr. Butler would have been 64 years old next month. He had been ill about a year, and was taken to the hospital the afternoon before his death. Four wears [sic] ago Mr. Butler retired as president of the Chiago Commissary company. He then took a position as director of food supplies for the Illinois Emergency Relief commission. He had been a resident of Wilmette for the last 16 years, moving here from Chicago. His boyhood days were spent at Ludington, Mich., his birthplace. Mr. Butler was a member of the Ludington chapter of the Elks lodge. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Alice Smith Butler, and five daughters, Katherine, 26 years old, and Jessie Lou, 23, who are at home. Nancy, 19, a student at Mundelein college, Patsy, 18, who was graduated from New Trier High School last June, and Eileen, 13, now attending New Trier. The funeral services for Mr. Butler were held from his late residence to St. Francis Xavier church Wednesday morning. Burial was at All Saints' cemetery.
