Mrs. Barbara Braun, 87, died Monday in her home at 1134 Illinois road, Wilmette. She was born in a house near the one in which she died and was a charter member of St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society at St. Joseph Church. Surviving are her husband, Joseph, a former masonry contractor; three sons, Louis of Tucson, Clarence, 1654 Orchard lane, Northfield, and Martin, 2500 Greenwood avenue, Wilmette; and three daughters, Mrs. Adeline Wickless of the Illinois road address, Mrs. Josephine Tontsch of Chicago, and Mrs. Lorraine Woodall, 2115 Birchwood avenue, Wilmette. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Thalman, 350 Happ road, and Mrs. Theresa Levernier, 2120 Old Willow road, both of Northfield; four brothers, Anton Reinwald, 614 Illinois road, John 1112 Illinois road, and Hubert, 2045 Lake avenue, all of Wilmette, and Bernard, 1659 Harding road, Northfield; 23 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Mass was scheduled for 10 a.m. today in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Techny. Lindsey Home for Funerals is handling arrangements.
