Walker, John Lawrence (Died)

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Scott's Evanston chapel for John Lawrence Walker, 63, who died suddenly on Sunday at his home at 133 Abingdon Road, Kenilworth. Place of interment was Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Walker, who was president of Fidelity Insurance Agencies, Inc., with offices at 175 West Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, was born in that city. He had lived on the North Shore since his marriage in 1920, in Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, and, for the last 16 years, in Kenilworth. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette, and of the Skokie Country Club. His wife, the late Mrs. Romola Drake Walker, died on October 26. Two daughters survive, Mrs. Jean Dement of Glenview and Mrs. Cynthia W. Rummel of Kenilworth; also a brother, James R.; and six grandchildren.
