Mrs. Fidelia Richards Roper, wife of William Winston Roper, Jr., and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus D. Richards of the Homestead hotel, Evanston, died Friday in the Pennsylvania Lying-In hospital at Philadelphia. Her home was at 8011 Ardlet road, Chestnut Hill, Pa. Mrs. Richards and her daughter, Mary Louise, who were vacationing at their summer home in Maine, flew to Philadelphia, when they received word of Mrs. Roper's condition. The Richards family formerly lived in Hubbard Woods and had recently leased their home for two years to live in the Homestead. Mrs. Roper is also survived by an infant son, William Winston Roper, III born the last of July. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Philadelphia.
