- Elke Anne Mast, nee Nissen, of Wilmette, passed away in her home on Nov. 4, 2010. She was born on Dec. 2, 1927 in Cuxhaven, Germany. Elke was the wife of Dr. Paul E. Mast; the mother of Dr. Peter K. Mast and Christine M. Hunter (nee Mast); grandmother on Nicholas Mast, Kathleen Triplett, Robert Hunter and Jacob Hunter. Elke and her family immigrated from Germany to America in 1956.
