Notes: Dr. George A. Nelson Jr., 72, formerly of Northbrook, died September 3, 2003 in his Glenview home. Born July 31, 1931 in Chicago. Survivors include his wife, Patricia M. (nee McCurdy); three sons, Dr. Mark A. (Peggy) of LaPorte, Indiana, Dr. Paul D. (Laura Lee) of Homer Glen, Illinois, and George A. III of Arizona; two daughters, Cinda (Guy) Considine of Vernon Hills and Kristin L. of Chicago; seven grandchildren, Mark, Christopher, Alex, Caitlin, Kyra, Emma and Ryan; a sister, Diane (Lewis) Chapin of Maryland; and his caretaker and friend, Slavic Frejdyk.
