- Mary Marvin died Nov. 21 at Northwest Community Continuing Care Center in Arlington Heights. She was 86. A native of Luxembourg. She was married to the late Sam Marvin, owner and proprietor of the Shawnee Garage in Wilmette. Mrs. Marvin is survived by her daughter, Margaret Van Stell of Arlington Heights; her sons, Harry Marvin and Peter Marvin, both of Wilmette; nine grandchhildren and eight great-grandchildren.
