- James S. Marcum, 82, a former resident of Wilmette, died Oct. 16 in Pueblo Colo.
Mr. Marcum was born April 12, 1921 in Rockford, Ill.
Survivors include his wife, E. Maurine Marcum; his son, James K. (Kathie) Marcum; his daughter, Deborah (Tom) Vinopal; his grandchildren, Tonia (Jeff) Gray, Angelique Kahn, Megan Vinopal, Christopher Vinopal and Katie Vinopal; great-grandchildren, Krista, Michael, Ashley and Nathan Gray; his sisters, Louise (Wilmer) Carlson, and Loretta (Don) Pillsbury.
He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Sina Marcum; three sons, Terry Marcum, Jerry Marcum and Gary Marcum; and two sisters, Mildred (Gilbert) Halls and Ruth (Leslie) Holmes.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27 at the Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church.
