- Dorothy M. Pontious (nee Browne), 94, died Friday, Dec. 12 at Manor Care of Northbrook.
Mrs. Pontious was born March 13, 1909 in Chicago. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Ann (John) Relias of Wilmette; two granddaughters, Anne Relias of Chicago and Alexandra Relias of Wilmette; a niece, Patricia Arrington Smythe; and a nephew, Michael B. Arrington. She is predeceased by her husband, Howard A. Pontious; a sister, Ruth (the late W. Russell) Arrington; and a brother, Albert (Virginia) Browne.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 19 at Church of the Holy Comforter, 222 Kenilworth Ave., Kenilworth.
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.
