- Sybil Roman Winograd of Skokie died March 19. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman. She is by [sic] her son Bruce (Bitsy) Winograd of Wilmette; her daughter Julie (Edward) Weil; grandchildren Andrew Weil, David (Susan) Weil, Robert (Libby) Weil, Diane Weil, Audrey (Rick) Appelsies, Ellen Manaster, Jill Winograd and Joanne Winograd; and great-grandchildren Sarah and Rachel Weil. She was the sister of Bernard Roman, Sally Barnett, Esther Sabath, and Goldie (Ben) Brown and the late Saul, Gabriel and David Roman. Funeral services were March 21 at Piser Weinstein Menorah Chapels. Interment was at Shalom Memorial Park, Palatine.
