- John C. Walker, 77, died December 1, 1999 at his home in Wilmette. Preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne (née Sellemeyer) Walker in 1988. Survivors include his children, Craig (Linda) Walker of Evanston, David (Gina) Walker of Phoenix, Steve (Rebecca) Walker of Philadelphia and Kate Walker of Evanston; grandchildren Suzanne, Alexander, Jackson, Alex, Sarah, Daniel, Andrew and John; a brother, Robert (Dorothy) Walker; and his sister, Marlyn "Prue" (the late John) Dennis.
