- Chester Stanley Stasiak, 71, died at his home in New Port Richey, Florida, on March 12. He was born in Evanston. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Roos Stasiak; two sons, Michael of Irvine, California, and John of Tampa, Florida; two daughters, Virginia Leahy of Northfield, and Patricia D'Herckens of Wilmette; a brother, Frank of Wheaton; two sisters, Pauline Geist of Chicago and Jane Kon of Oil City, Pennsylvania; and nine grandchildren. A funeral Mass was said on March 22 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in New Port Richey.
