- Carolyn (née Nichols) Skoul, 86, of Wilmette, died January 1, 2002 in Evanston Hospital. Born April 12, 1915 in Chicago. Survivors include her husband, Nicholas; a son, George (Patricia); a daughter, Kathy (David) Brock; four grandchildren, Paul and Karen Brock and Antonia and Carolyn Skoul; and a sister, Angeline (the late John) Zaffer. Preceded in death by a sister, Stella (the late Nicholas) Chiou; and three brothers, John (Helen) Nichols, Theodore (Mary) Nichols and James (the late Paula) Nichols.
