- Donald F. Smith, 77, of Wilmette, died Dec. 30, 1992 in Mesa Ariz. He was born in Gilman, Ill. Survivors include his wife, Esther Smith; a daughter, Donna Smith of Wauwatosa, Wis.; a son, Larry (Judith) Smith of Canton, Mich.; grandchildren, Amy (Bill) Durnen of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Steve Smith of Canton, Mich.; a sister, Margaret (Elroy) Seipe of Gilman and a brother Harold (Mary) Smith of Burlingame, Calif.
