- Joanne A. Smith, 63, a life-long resident of Kenilworth, died Aug. 21 at home. She was the widow of Sanford [sic] B. Smith, former village president of Kenilworth, who died in December 1992. Survivors include a son, Stanford B. (Carole) Smith II of Glenview; a daughter, Julie (Robert) Montgomery of Winnetka; a brother Rudolph Vdovell, and three grandchildren, Virginia, Elizabeth and Stanford III. Interment was at Holy Comforter churchyard.
