Notes: John R. Peterson, 65, formerly of Northbrook and Winnetka, died February 14, 2000 at his home in St. Joseph, Michigan. Preceded in death by his parents, Theodore R. and Margaret (neé Whipple) Peterson; and a brother, Theodore L. Peterson. Survivors include his wife, Ellen (neé Hetrick) Peterson; two sons, Eric (Serena) Peterson of Wilmette and Jessy Peterson of Indianapolis; a daughter, Margo (Jeff) Kendall of Merrillville, Ind.; and four grandchildren, Jared and Adam Peterson and Hunter and Fisher Kendall.
