- Harry M. Peters, 88, died January 15, 2000 in Phoenix, photo. Born in Wilmette on January 31, 1911 to John J. and Katherine (neé Schaefer) Peters. Married Leona V. Yndogliato of Neillsville, Wisc. in 1940. Preceded in death by his wife who died in 1996, and an infant son, Jerome M., who died in 1951. Survived by daughters Barbara Rooker of Phoenix and Katherine Ward of Oberlin, Ohio; sons John J. Peters of Morton Grove and James H. Peters of Maitland, Florida; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
