- Dorothy S. Murray, 97, died October 8, 2000 in her Evanston home. Born in Wilmette on February 28, 1903. Preceded in death by her husband, Meldrum N. Murray. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Murray of Evanston and Carol (John) Faerber of Arlington Heights; four grandchildren, Tod (Patti) Faerber, Susan (Joel) Rusco, Tim (Maria) Faerber and Diane (Bill) Serowka; and 14 great-grandchildren.
