Austin Ford Lindley, 59, died at Glenbrook Hospital on Oct. 4 [1989]. Born in Tuscola, Ill., he had lived in Wilmette for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Applegate Lindley; his mother, Roseabelle Ford Lindley of Morris, Ill.; and five daughters, Vicki Reece of Enterprise, Fla., Teri Lindley of Wilmette, Lori Lindley of Portland, Ore., Becki Lindley of New York City, and Linda Marcann Smith of Wilmette; and one grandson, Geoffrey Smith. Also surviving are his seven brothers, Kenneth of Minonk, Ill, Russell of Glenview, Harold of Morton, Ill., Lyle of Elgin, Robert of Corowa, Australia, Ray of Morris, and Lester of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and two sisters, Alice Determan of Morton Grove, and Esther Donley of Oak Forest.
