- A requiem mass was said last Thursday in St. Athanasius Church in Evanston for the 14-year-old Wilmette resident, who was struck and killed by a Chicago & North Western commuter train at the Kenilworth Av. crossing in Kenilworth on June 23 [1979]. Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Thomas and Roberta; two sisters, Lori and Janice, a both of Wilmette; and his grandparents, Regina Linkowski of Merriville, Ind. [Indiana], and Joseph Iwinski of Hobart, Ind. [Indiana]. Burial was at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
