- Mary Lou Gent Scott Jones, 89, died May 16 in her home in Wilmette. Her first husband was John M. Scott, who was the son of Walter Dill Scott, former president of Northwestern University. After his death she was married to Thomas C. Jones. She is survived by two sons, John M. Scott, Jr. of Naples, Florida and Walter D. Scott of Northfield, and five grandchildren, Timothy, David, Gordon, John and Anderson.
