Notes: Jean Spanuth Jordan died May 26 in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif. She was 75. Mrs. Jordan was born in Wilmette in 1919. She was the daughter of the late Dena and Hans Spanuth, early residents of Wilmette who lived at 229 6th Street for 55 years. Mrs. Jordan was the widow of John P. Jordan, who died in 1979. She is survived by her daughter Diana (O.T.) Barry III of Palos Verdes Estates; her son John Thomas (Mercita) Jordan of San Francisco; and five grandsons, Dax and Rhett Jordan and Tad, Troy and Tyler Barry.
