- Jean (neé Smith) Young Cozzens, formerly of Wilmette, died February 6, 2000 at Presbyterian Home, Evanston. Married Frank H. Young II in 1941. Predeceased by her husband, Frank in 1991; her second husband, Warren B. Cozzens, in 1998; and a daughter, Heidi. Survivors include four children, Fritz (Jeanie) Young of Evanston, Margaret (Mark) Winders of Western Springs, Gary (Carole) Young of Evanston and Thomas (Rita) of Boulder, Colorado; eight grandchildren, and a sister, Elizabeth (C. John) Darnton of Alpena, Mich.
