- John E. Hicks, 52, died Feb. 22 at University of Chicago Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Andree; his parents, Ray and Francis Hicks of Wilmette; and five children, John Jr. of Tucson, Ariz.; Susan and Jennifer of Boulder, Col., Jean-Lou Porcheron of England, and Elizabeth of Glencoe. Also surviving him are his brother and sister, Sheila and William. Full obituary available at Wilmette Public Library.
