- Jean B. Fischer died Nov. 8 at her home in Evanston. She was 86. Mrs. Fischer was born in Pawnee City, Neb. Survivors include her husband, Dr. George G. of Evanston; two sons, Dr. Stanton P. of Houston; George A. of Indian Wells, Cal.; one brother, Theodore L. Bechtel of Falls Church, Va.; one sister, Bess Holloway of Downer's Grove; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
