Notes: Richard L. Halpin Sr. died January 24 as a result of injuries sustained when as a pedestrian he was struck by a car January 13 crossing Green Bay Road at Central Avenue in WIlmette. Mr. Halpin, 74, was married in St. Joseph's Church in Wilmette in 1941. He is survived by his wife, Abigail; two sons, Richard Jr. of Olympia Fields and Robert of Chicago; two daughters, Gail Prassas of Wilmette and Mary Tures of Evanston; and eight grandchildren.
