- Preston Farley, a former resident of Evanston, died July 19 in Santa Barbara, California. He was 81. Mr. Farley was born in Kenilworth the son of Jesse K. Farley Jr., and grandson of Jesse K. Farley, Sr. Survivors, in addition to his daughter, Julianne, include his wife, Marion; two sons, Alan Dennis of Goleta, California, and Donald of Mazatlan, Mexico; and his sister, Estelle Behan of Sedona, Arizona.
