- Edna H. Brooks, 84, of Wilmette, died October 23 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Her husband was the late Henry Brooks. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Holmberg of Wilmette; four grandchildren, David of Minneapolis, and Steven, Mark and Susan of Wilmette. Burial was at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Worth, Illinois.
