- Mildred C. Fuchs died July 10 in Wilmette, her home since 1988. She was 81. Mrs. Fuchs was born in Birch Run, Mich., and was a longtime resident of Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., with her husband, John M. Fuchs, who died in 1988. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Robert) Ligett of Wilmette; and grandchildren Susan Carroll of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Lynne Krawczyk of Rochester Hill, Mich., John A. Ligett Jr., and Brian Ligett of Ypsilanti, Mich. Burial will be today at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Detroit, Mich.
