- Kathleen (née DePass) Gallie, 93, died January 12, 2001 in Highland Park Hospital. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, but moved to Costa Rica when very young. Educated in Canada and Switzerland. Married Donald M. Gallie in 1929. Their daughter, Sylvia Ann, died of a brain tumor in 1945 at the age of 12. Survived by two brothers, Arthur de Pass of Ottawa, Canada and Roy De Pass of San Jose, Costa Rica.
