- Barbara Bramman Lyman, 80, died July 7 in Wilmette. Mrs. Lyman was born in St. Louis. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Elias; her son Elias "Tay" (Karen) Lyman of Lincolnshire; her daughter Alison Lyman of Lake Zurich; one grandson, Elias "Niel"; and her sister, Hildegarde Cooney of San Francisco. A funeral Mass for Mrs. Lyman was celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church in Wilmette.
