- Dorothy "Deb" Elizabeth Barrows Espenshade, 80, of Wilmette died May 22, 1997. Born in Chicago. Survivors include her husband, Edward B. Espenshade Jr.; her daughters, Jean Ellen Espenshade of Madison, Wisconsin, and Nancy Elizabeth (Dave Kyllo) Espenshade of Evanston; her sister, Peggy J. (Jay E.) McCormick of Highland Park; and nieces, Barbara (Charles) Stika and Laura (Robert Boiko) McCormick. Funeral services were May 27 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Evanston, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
