- William Bruce Blackwell, 28, of Hot Springs, North Carolina, died May 20 at home. He was born and reared in Wilmette Mr. Blackwell is survived by his wife, Jane Scholar Blackwell of Hot Springs; his children, Johanna Leha, 4, and Trevor Joseph, 2; his mother, Mary Louise Wells of Winnetka; a brother, Wesley Blackwell of Rye, New York; his sisters, Julie Urban of Wilmette, Diane Gaumer of Glenview, Susan Courtney of Wilmette, Nancy Blackwell of Northfield and eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in daeth by his father, Dr. William Joseph Blackwell.
