Notes: Peter J. Nitto Sr., 65, died April 27 at his home in Wilmette. Mr. Nitto was born in Dwight, Illinois. He is survived by his mother, Lida Nitto of Niles; five children, Susan Bennett of Northfield; Nancy Onderdonk of Chicago; Peter J. Jr. of Northbrook; Christopher of Wilmette; and Matthew of Evanston; and four grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister Vivian Mueller of California. A funeral mass was celebrated May 2 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
