Notes: William J. Wells of Wilmette died at Old Orchard Manor, SKokie, on August 20, 1992. He was 93. Mr. Wells was born in Rockport, Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Edith Strassell Wells, and two sons, Joel (Betty) of Evanston, and David (Lynette) of Jackson, Michigan. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Lee Wells of New Orleans; Patricia O'Connell of South Haven, Michigan; Warren Wells of Green Bay, Wisconsin; William Wells of Milwaukee; Eugenia Geannopoulos of Portland, Oregon; Susan Mortell of Evanston; Steven Wells of Evanston; and Daniel Wells of Edwardsville, Illinois.
