- Alice La Buy Foy of Winnetka, 76, died Oct. 10, 1996 in Evanston. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John O. Foy; her son, John (Mary) of Wayne, Penn.; two daughters, Allison (Steve) Schlickman of Wilmette and Laura Foy of Herndon, Va.; her grandchildren, William and Michael Foy and Patrick and Christy Schlickman; her sister, Helen (Mark) Shackleford of Pauma Valley, Calif.; her niece and great-nephews, Elisa (Elliott) Olson and Matt and Dan Olson of Santa Monica, Calif.; and her cousins, Lucia, Jeff and Doug Mathieux of San Francisco.
