- Perry Lewis Brand died Jan. 5 [1997] at the Hospice of the North Shore at Evanston Hospital. He was 74. Mr. Brand, who was born in Chicago, was a longtime resident of Wilmette. Mr. Brand is survived by his wife, Barbara Baatz Brand of Wilmette; a son, Gerald Brand of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.; three daughters, Kelly Brand of Evanston, Pamela Brand of Chicago and Susan Ivery of Chicago; and eight grandchildren, Natalie and Beau Brand, Naomi Sill, Camille, Heather and Jasmine Ivery and Jacqueline and Alana Rasmussen. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cornelia Sheldon Brand, and a brother, Gerald.
