- Catherine E. Allen, 90, died Jan. 28 in Cincinnati. Born in Iowa, Mrs. Allen had lived at 801 Laramie in the village for 25 years before moving to Ohio last year. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Miller of Wilmette and Jean Hughey of Cincinnati; 12 grandchilden; and 12 great grandchildren. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery at Des Plaines.
