- Sylvia Turner Bowen, 92, born January 19, 1905 in NYC, died October 6, 1997 in Pinetop, Arizona, photo. Survivors include her husband, Harvey Newland Bowen, of Kihei, Hawaii; three children, Theodore (Ann) Bowen of Tucson, Ariz., Howard (Carole) Bowen of Northbrook and Mary (Phillip) Bowen Kelley of Mankato, Minn.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harry (Clara) Turner of The Woodlands, Texas, and C. Roger (Carolyn) Turner of Wyndmoor, Penn.; and a sister, Rosemary Decker of Fallbrook, California She was preceded in death by her brother, Archie Turner.
