Notes: Doris H. Yurek, 80, died Jan. 9 at the Hanover Terrace Healthcare in Hanover, N.H. Mrs. Yurek was born Aug. 27, 1923 in Oswaldtwistle, England, the daughter of William and Helen (Willans) Gleason. In 1948 she was married to William F. Yurek in Cohes, N.Y. Survivors include her daughter, Ellen F. Thompson of Lyme, N.H.; her son, William D. Yurek of Winnetka; her sister, Marie K. Williams of Claremont, N.H.; two granddaughters; three grandsons; her sister-in-law, Eleanor Gleason; and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, William F. Yurek; and her brother, William Gleason. A memorial gathering was held on Monday, Jan. 12.
