Notes: Wilmette Braves Squirt Bronze hockey team captured the championship at the Big Bear Big Chill tournament that ended Sunday in Ann Arbor (Michigan). The team, coached by Rafe Aybar and Devin McDonald, was unbeaten in the tournament with one tie. The Wilmette Braves Under-10 girls team claimed top honors in the B Division at the Richfield Girls Invitational Hokey Tournament in Minneapolis last weekend. The Braves are coached by George Arnold and Kevin Grant.
