Notes: The Wilmette Braves Bantam Elite hockey tam earned a championship Sunday with a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over the Joliet Jaguars in the Northern Illinois Hockey League championship game. The squad, which consists of players from Kenilworth, Wilmette and Glenview, was led by the league's only female goalie, Deidre Facklis, and captain Devan O'Dowd. Wilmette is coached by Shawn Brown and Tom Walsh.
