- Twelve Loyola student artists display work at the Wilmette Arts Guild Student Art Show at the Wilmette Public Library through Februay 29. Kate McCambridge of Wilmette is exhibitor; Student artists will also exhibit work at Borders Book Store at Edens Plaza March 2-29; Community Day Event at Edens Plaza February 28 to help raise money for Loyola theater students to attend the Fringe Festival in Scotland this fall; February 18 Concerto Concert rescheduled for April 6; Winter Choral Concert February 29; Loyola President Rev. Theodore G. Munz and Patrick McGrath spoke to freshmen week of February 2 on the subject of the Reformation and 16th century Spain, the life of the school's patron St. Ignatius Loyola and the early Society of Jesus; Certamen held February 4, results for Latin team; Kevin M. Kissane, Loyola's Director of Major Gifts, addressed students on writing in the workplace; Forensics team competition January 31; Peer Helping Workshop Day February 1 facilitator Katie Murray, '04, of Kenilworth. Instructors Jerry W. Maurer, Sandy L. Nowarita and Susan Spillane; Mary E. Just, physical education instructor, inducted into Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Hall of Fame on February 7
