Mrs. C. B. Carpenter passed away Sunday, October 12, at the residence of her son at 601 Washington avenue, after an illness of only a week.
Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Stephen A. Lloyd, pastor of the First Congregational church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Thornton A. Mills, pastor of the New England Congregational church, Chicago, of which Mrs. Carpenter was a member for more than 40 years.
