Mrs. Mary E. Burroughs, former resident, is dead

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Burroughs, 81 years old, a former resident of the village, died in Chicago last Monday morning. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Graceland chapel and burial was in the Graceland cemetery. Rev. George P. Magill of the Wilmette Presbyterian church officiated at the services. Mrs. Burroughs had not been a resident of the village for some years but was well known here at one time, it was said.
