Services held Monday for Mrs. Martha Kershaw

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Kershaw, mother of Mrs. H. E. Pronto, 901 Elmwood avenue, who passed away on Friday, April 8, at the advanced age of 95 years, were held from the Wilmette Methodist church Monday afternoon, April 11. The services were conducted by Rev. Gale of Maywood, who for number of years was pastor of the local church. Rev. Gale was assisted by Dr. Horace G. Smith.

Mrs. Kershaw was born in Langshire, England. She had been a resident of Wilmette for over eleven years, having moved here from Chicago, her residence previous to that time. She had been a member of the Methodist church for over seventy years and was a regular attendant of the services at the local church. The remains were taken to Rutland, Vermont, for interment.
