Ellen M. Long passes away at home Friday

Ellen M. Long, wife of the late Joseph Long who passed away at Sarasota, Florida, last June, died at her home, 815 Gregory avenue, Friday evening, April 29. Services were conducted from the Scott Funeral Home last Tuesday, Rev. George P. Magill of the Presbyterian church presiding. Interment was made at Rose Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Long was born in Jackson, Michigan, and was 64 years of age at her death. She was the daughter of A. D. Ferren, one of the founders of the Wilmette Improvement association and an editor of the Chicago Record Herald.
Mrs. Long had been a resident of Wilmette for over twenty-seven years and her passing will be mourned by a vast circle of friends.
She is survived by her son, C. S. Long of San Antonio, Texas, and a grandaughter [sic], Evelyn, 12 years of age.- Featured Link
