Final rites for Jesse Scribner of 417 Lee street, Evanston, formerly a resident of Wilmette, who passed away on Saturday, November 26, were conducted from the Graceland cemetery chapel on Monday, November 28: Dr. Stephen A. Lloyd of the Wilmette Congregational church officiating. He was laid to rest in the Graceland cemetery.
Mr. Scribner was born in Chicopee, Mass., on May 24, 1864, and was 63 years of age at the time of his death. During his period of residence in Wilmette he lived at Tenth street and Ashland avenue, removing to Evanston a few years ago. His death was caused by lobular pneumonia. He is survived by one daughter, Miss Florence Scribner.- Featured Link
